It is amazing the number of times I see an e-mail from someone where they are using a hotmail or yahoo account for their business. These are on business cards, marketing material and even on their websites.

Nothing screams louder to me, “I am a brand new business and I have no idea what I am doing.” than when I see someone with a email from hotmail, yahoo, or even worse aol.

How do you have your own domain and not your own personalize e-mail addresses. Every hosting provider I have dealt with offers at least 50 free e-mail accounts.

Google Apps is a great tool. However, it is not for the faint of heart non-websavy-tech person

There are two versions the standard and the premium. The Standard version is for small business and groups.
Premium is looking for larger groups and organizations that can are going to pay for e-mail service. I recommend both services. If you can’t pay you should get started and then when your organization is large enough switch to the premium.

Either way there is no excuse to continue to use your hotmail, yahoo or aol email.
